Compliance with and Impact on International Standards

EULER will make use of as many standards as possible, be it formal standards (i.e. HTTP, Z39.50, ISSN or ISBN) or emerging de facto (Dublin Core). The applicability of the existing relevant standards, particulary bibliographic ones and internet protocols, will be investigated and used if feasible.

The user interface will be developed using industry standards such as public domain and commercial WWW-Browsers.
