In this talk, we consider non-algebraic counterparts of the p-Adic Littlewood Conjecture and of Duke\'s Theorem for subcollections. &lt;BR> One of the non-algebraic counterparts of the p-Adic Littlewood Conjecture involves unboundedness of the A-orbits of arbitrary choices of p-Hecke neighbors of a lattice as p goes to infinity along the primes. &lt;BR> We prove, using expanders, a bootstrap argument and the equidistribution of Hecke neighbors, that the set of exceptions for this conjecture has Hausdorff dimension strictly smaller than 1 in [0,1] (where we assign lattices to points in [0,1]). This notion was introduced by Biran, together with the isotropic skeleta associated to a polarization, and he exhibited symplectic rigidity properties of these skeleta. In later work, I generalized the notion of symplectic polarizations to any closed symplectic manifold, and showed that they are useful to construct symplectic embeddings. In the present talk, I will explain how this notion of polarization can be generalized further to the affine setting in dimension 4 and how it leads to more interesting embedding results. These refined embedding constructions provide a new way to understand the symplectic rigidities of Lagrangian skeleta noticed by Biran and get new ones. These results also lead to (seemingly new kind of) rigidities for some Legendrian submanifolds in contact geometry.  I will present several examples and applications. A partition identity is a theorem stating that for all n, the number of partitions of n satisfying some conditions (often congruence conditions on the parts) equals the number of partitions of n satisfying some other conditions (often difference conditions between the parts). The Andrews-Gordon identities, which generalise the Rogers-Ramanujan identities, are among the most famous and widely studied partition identities. Using techniques from commutative algebra, Pooneh Afsharijoo conjectured in 2020 a companion to these identities (i.e. a partition identity with the same congruence conditions but other difference conditions). In particular, there is only one isomorphism class of del Pezzo surfaces of degree $5$ over a field $\\mathbf{k}=\\overline{\\mathbf{k}}$. In this talk, we will focus on del Pezzo surfaces of degree $5$ defined over a perfect field $\\mathbf{k}$. For an algebraist, it is a Galois group, the one of the purely transcendental extension in n variables C(x_1,...,x_n)/C (one may change the field C). For a geometer, it is the group of birational transformations of affine or projective space of dimension n. I will consider a classical question asked by Enriques in 1895 and revived in 1987 in the Encyclopedia of Mathematics: are Cremona groups simple? For n=1, the answer is positive and classical, as the group is PGL_2(C)=PSL_2(C). In dimension n>1, the negative answer was given only in 2013 for n=2 and in 2021 for n>2. Once the group is known not to be simple, one may study its quotients. The effect of the additional entropy functional results into an elliptic regularization for the (so-called) Kantorovich potentials of the dual problem.&lt;/p>&lt;p>Assuming the initial and terminal measures to have densities, we prove that the optimal curve remains positive and locally bounded in time. We focus on the case that the transport problem is set on a compact Riemannian manifold with Ricci curvature bounded below.&lt;/p>&lt;p>The approach follows ideas introduced by P.L. Lions in the theory of mean-field games about optimization problems with penalizing congestion terms. If the interaction between the electron and the field is strong, it is known that the ground state energy is to leading order given by the ground state energy of the semiclassical polaron model, where the field is treated as a classical variable. In this talk, we give a detailed description of the full low-energy spectrum of the (confined) polaron by providing arbitrarily high corrections to the semiclassical energy. More precisely, we present an asymptotic series expansion for every low-energy eigenvalue in inverse powers of the coupling constant. Towards the end of the talk, we will discuss what is known about the low-energy spectrum of the non-confined translation-invariant polaron, in particular, the existence of excited bound states at fixed total momentum. The talk is based on joint works with M. Brooks, K. Mysliwy and R. Their additive randomization allows one to match any finite sequence of target random variables, indexed by the given fixed dates, on the whole probability space. The randomized arcade processes can thus be interpreted as a generalization of anticipative stochastic bridges. The filtrations generated by these processes are utilized to construct a class of martingales which interpolate between the given target random variables. These so-called filtered arcade martingales (FAMs) are almost-sure solutions to the martingale interpolation problem and reveal an underlying stochastic filtering structure. In the special case of conditionally Markov randomized arcade processes, the dynamics of FAMs are informed through Bayesian updating. FAMs can be connected to martingale optimal transport (MOT) by considering optimally coupled target random variables. Moreover, FAMs allow to formulate an information-based martingale optimal transport problem, which enables the introduction of noise in MOT, in a similar fashion to how Schrödinger\'s problem introduces noise in optimal transport. A perturbed matrix game is one where the entries depend on a parameter which varies smoothly around zero. We introduce two new concepts: (a) value-positivity if, for every sufficiently small error, there is a strategy that guarantees the value of the error-free matrix game; and (b) uniformvalue-positivity if there exists a fixed strategy that guarantees, for every sufficiently small error, the value of the error-free matrix game. While the first concept captures the dependency of optimal strategies to small perturbations, the second naturally arises where the data is uncertain and a strategy is sought which remains optimal despite that uncertainty. In this paper, we provide explicit polynomial-time algorithms to solve these two problems for any polynomially perturbed matrix game. For (a), we further provide a functional form for the error-dependent optimal strategy. This method is applied for reconstruction of dielectric permittivity and conductivity functions using time-dependent scattered data of electric field at the boundary of the domain.&lt;/p>&lt;p>All reconstruction algorithms are based on optimization approach for finding of stationary point of the Lagrangian.
