| Abstract | In MATLAB, the function pinv is the default choice when computing the Moore-Penrose inverse of a matrix. In this note, we discuss possible alternative strategies for its calculation and we show that such built-in function might not represent an optimal choice in some cases. The presentation is supported by a detailed step-by-step MATLAB implementation. |
