Organisation of the problem classes
There will be weekly homework assignments available for download from the course web page each Monday morning. Printouts will not be provided. Homework will include theoretical problems and programming problems, which are to be prepared using Matlab (available at the student computer pools at ETH). The solved theoretical problems should be handed in until the following Tuesday at 17:00 in the assistants' boxes located at HG G 53 or in the exercise classes on Monday morning or Tuesday afternoon. Please provide the assistant's name on the solved problem sheets.
Programming problems
Please submit your program code (by the same deadline) here:
http://www.math.ethz.ch/~grsam/submit/
You will get access to the online submission tool with your nethz ID and student ID number. Please choose 5 - Numerical Analysis II (P. Grohs) from the drop-down list and submit all your files (m-files and plots as eps-files) as one single zip archive. Additionally, you will have to provide information on your exercise group and the solved exercise. After successful submission of your solution, a confirmation mail will be sent to you.
Testate condition
As testate conditions are not in place anymore, it is not compulsory, but it is recommended, to hand in the assignments for correction.
Problem sheets
Please download below the problem sheets and templates. The folder 'PCodes' contains the encrypted solutions of the programming problems and can be used as reference implementations to check your solution.
